- Where is workforce development coming up for you in your community or policy advocacy?
- How are you engaging in workforce development advocacy? Are you in the initial stages of building relationships, or do you have a formed coalition? We want to understand our group’s experience and areas in which our network could best support your work.
- How are you advocating for workforce development funding and technical assistance support in your state? Do you hope to engage state SRF administrative staff to discuss how the SRF program could support workforce development?
- What types of water projects are being held up in your community due to a lack (or perceived lack) of a trained workforce? Are utilities and municipalities struggling with succession planning?
- Where is your community on the spectrum of water resource contracting – are there local hire requirements, contractor development programs, and contract policies favoring long-term funds for building a workforce?
Join us for our quarterly national convening call for all Forum members. More details coming soon!
